For Paws opened in 1999 and was a natural extension of a 30 year companionship with dogs by the owners Lyn and Nigel Cardus. Proud owners of the 'Seadreamer' kennel name they have successfully competed in working trials (UK) and have owned and bred a number of 'Show Champions'. Over the years they gained a wealth of experience both in Canada and in the UK. Active breed club and committee membership (Northern Newfoundland Club), Show Manager, Working Trials Manager, Judge Working Trials (Newfoundland water and drafting trials) and Trainer at Club Events. When Newfoundlands became the object of that passion there was no turning back. Lyn and Nigel became proud owners of their first dog in 1981 and since then have dedicated much of their life to their passion. Never missing any opportunity to add to their own experience, their business now affords them a privileged position in the Community to share their passion with like-minded 'dog lovers'.
